Theres not a set High school leauge, I know the polar bear had a division, but there were never any of the big name HS's. Usually Farmington, and there is always A River Falls Team ready, so if anyone knows of a good HS tourney curcuit, let us know!! River Falls WI is there.

Thanks!

Check out the AYT. It is not a sanctioned high school event though. Our events are for 12-17 year olds, semi auto. We are just finishing up the rule book and updating the web site currently. Feel free to ask questions on here, PM me or email me at jt@annandalepaintnball.com for more info. Our website will have almost everything on it as soon as it gets updated.

Again not a sanctioned high school event, but built for that age group.

The NCPA puts on regional HS tournaments. The only real reason to play these would be to go to the NCPA nationals and play entry free. Other than that, a lot of colleges have teams that are pretty well organized and play many events.

NCPA is paid by the school - generally most public high schools will not pay for entry so no it is not free. The AYT is a great competition thats inexpensive.

The NCPA is not always paid by the school. I started the program at Winona State, so i think I know a little bit about this.

WSU is fortunate enough to have most things covered by the school funding, but there are many other teams in our division...Midwest North...that have to pay all out of pocket. We have also had to do numerous presentations and sit in on meetings to get this done.

Since most HS do not have the money to front for this, and are struggling to make it as is, you arent going to see any money, but the NCPA is still there if you want to look into a HS tourney that will lead to a possible trip to nationals.

The team will have to pay out of pocket for that tourney. If my understanding from the person that runs the NCPA is correct, if you win the regional event you get free nationals.

If this doesn't make you want to play the regional tourney, then you are stupid

"Although the National Championships is open to any eligible team, the top teams from each of the six High School Regional Championships receive a $2,000 travel reimbursement if they attend the National Championship event."

Many schools I.E in our MWN division are paid by the school and I think both Rob, John and Joe will back me up on that. Note also that offices of rec and club are difficult people to get money out of yes. (I like the we part lol). btw Did anyone from WSU really ref #5 or is that just a creative cover for having UWW ref at their own field ?

Yeah there were 3 of the WSU guys there. Not sure of all that goes down now with the club since I graduated, but I know they are trying to save some cash for nationals.

Not sure if I would have liked that if I was on another team...because lets face it...everyone has their moments and another college team in the same division could cause issues in calls.

Yeah, I would agree that most teams in the MWN are getting almost everything paid for....which is much more than other conferences can say I think. Plus the competition seems to be pretty good.

Not sure what "we" part you are talking about, but if it was the part about having to do presentations to get **** done, then i was talking about the past president and myself.

It was better to have a mix of refs anyway. The we part I was refering to was that the president handles the meetings and the players end up getting by skiping all the boring parts.
