Nessie, Monster or just misunderstood?
1933 July 22 George Spicer and his wife were driving down the road when they saw an animal crossing the road they described the creature as “having a large body (about 4 feet high and 25 feet long), and long, narrow neck, slightly thicker than an elephant's trunk and as long as the 10–12-foot width of the road; the neck had a number of undulations in it. They saw no limbs, possibly because of a dip in the road obscuring the animal's lower portion. It lurched across the road towards the loch 20 yards away, leaving only a trail of broken undergrowth in its wake.” This was the first big sighting of “The loch Ness Monster” that launched international interest. Ever since then scientists, researchers, crypto zoologists and just ordinary people having been coming from all around to catch a glimpse or prove the existence of the legendary animal. Today though the “myth of the Nessie” has been regarded as just that despite the countless sightings. Scientist have come to the conclusion that Nessie is just a tourist stunt and if she really did exist we would have found her by now. But this is just not true because of the sheer size and depth of Loach Ness, the lack of actual knowledge of large bodies of water, and they seem to ignore the fact that many people have seen it and made contact.
Because of the sheer size of Loch Ness or Lake Ness and depth it makes it very easy to overlook an animal that’s 25 feet long and nocturnal. According to Loch Ness Water Facts and Info Loch Ness is 26 miles long, one mile wide, and 755 ft deep. Loch Ness is known as one of the largest bodies of water and contains more water then all the rivers and lakes in England and Wales. Also because of the large sediment levels Loch Ness is very cloudy due to peat particles floating around because of this you can only see about 4 feet deep. Now if you put this all together you have a small nocturnal animal

2012 DOOMSDAY
2012 will be the day the human race is abolished according to some scientists. Others believe this mystery date is nothing more than a ploy to increase store revenues. Doomsday, while Mayan’s, Inca’s, and scientists agree that the end of the world could happen in the year of 2012, skeptics still are not buying into the doomsday prophesy. We are going to look at this not just one way, but two different ways.
On 2012 the earth and all the planets will come in line with the center of our Milky Way universe. This is a mystery to us because there is no one alive who has witnessed this. This alignment has many people speculating and preparing for the events that could take place. During this event our planet, Earth the third planet from the sun, will be closer to the sun than ever before. Scientist Michio Kaku has been on news stations like Fox news warning the world’s population about the suns ever increasing solar flares. Michio Kaku along with countless other scientists believes that these intense solar flares peaking at year 2012 could reach Earth and scorch the surface of the Earth.
These predictions are not new though, they date back to the Mayan’s and the Incas. The Mayan’s calendar is a 26,000 year clander that can predict an eclipse thousands of years into the future. The Mayans believed that the earth was going to end many times. The Mayans considered the great flood as the world ending once. The Mayans were years ahead of their time with their calendars and math. The Mayans taught that the poles would trade places. When the Mayan calendar reaches the year 2012 it mysteriously stops. Thus leading some scientists to speculate that it means the Earth will be destroyed. The human population will be gone and no need for a Mayan calendar.
The modern day scientists have concluded that everything the Mayan calendar has predicted so far has come true. In the year 1955 Albert Einstein proposed that a pole shift could happen. Would this be the very catastrophe that would bring the worlds ruin? This brings up the question whether or not we should be concerned about their greatest prediction yet about the year 2012?
In England there was a lady named Mother Shipton. She was born Ursula Sontheil in 1488 in a cave in North Yorkshire England. Her mother gave her up at two years old. A lot of people feared her because she had prophetic and psychic powers. She always wrote her prophecies in the form of a poem. She predicted that there would be TV, planes, submarines, and that half the world would die.
The Egyptian Pyramids are thought to hold some prophecy predictions. Some scientists believe that the pyramids were built to warn future generations of the coming disaster. Scientists believe that the Pyramids predicted World War one and World War two. They also believe that the Pyramids predict the end of the world in the year of 2012.
The Web Bot project in the late 1990’s was made to predict stocks and stock futures. It uses a system of spiders that crawl the internet looking for patterns of behavior and trends. It predicted 9/11 in New York City. It also predicted the 2001 Anthrax attack on Washington D.C. and the east coast power outage in 2003. It amazingly also predicted the Earthquake that led to the 2004 tsunami and Katrina and of course the disaster possibly coming in 2012.
Nostradamus was a physician, astronomer and astrologer who lived in the mid 16th century. Just like Mother Shipton, Nostradamus wrote his predictions in the form of poems. He predicted the death of Henry 11 from a jousting accident and the 1666 fire in London. He also predicted by name Napoleon and World War 11 and Hitler. He incredibly predicted the assassinations of Robert and John Kennedy. Nostradamus predicted that “there would be a final war between the years of 2007 and 2012”
Scientists have a startling prediction that during the alignment with the universe our north and south poles would switch in a matter of days or even hours. This would release mass tsunami’s and earth quakes beyond what anyone can imagine. Some scientist believes that this event has happened before and that it is represented in the Bible as the great flood. During a pole shift the poles would switch meaning that the North Pole and South Pole would melt accounting for the extra water. To try and prove their theories scientists want to dig deep into the ice to try and locate what should be a forest environment encased in ice.
Chinas oldest text the I Ching (the book of changes) was originally made for investments but when it reached the year 2012 it just stopped. Could this be another sign that in the year of 2012 the existence of the world will end?
Another prediction is that it could be the time that Jesus Christ is going to Rapture the Christians. In a twinkling of an eye we will be in the sky to meet and be with him for a thousand years. This has a lot of compelling points. The last book in the Bible, Revelation has a whole account of the end times. In the Bible it predicts that seven world empires will have past and we are fourteen and with the European Union we are at fithteen. In the Bible it said that men flying like birds would defend Jerusalem. This would be a reference to the airplane. In Rome there was a prediction by a lady named Sibyl. Sibyl predicted that the world would last of nine years of eight hundred years, and that the tenth generation would begin about 2000 A.D. being the last generation on this earth. Sibyl predicted that after that year that everyone who was saved was going to be in heaven.
The Hopi Predicted that the “sun would turn hotter, and the end of days the world will be crisscrossed by a spider web”. They are referring to the World Wide Web. The Hopi also believe that the world has ended three times once being during the great flood and that we are in the fourth world and that it will end with the blue star coming down. In this prophecy there really isn’t an end just another beginning.
There are still skeptics that believe this is another Y2K and that it is a way of scaring the public into stocking up for something that is not going to happen. In the year 2000 the Y2K bug was going to crash or severely cripple the whole world’s electronic devices. During Y2K people started buying bottled water, canned food, gas, and blankets. This ended up increasing stores revenues substantially. People do tend to panic when they hear of potential disasters. Citizens started to buy food and water because they thought the food supply chain would be disrupted by the malfunction of machines. The Y2K set off riots and there was looting. One of the biggest worries about what could happen was that the computer would not be able to tell the difference between the years 1900 and 2000. This flaw would have devastated the finances of many. Thus leading to people withdrawing their savings to make sure that it would not disappear in case the banking systems and computers crashed.
There will always be someone who will try to make a buck from someone else’s panic. Do we know what will happen? No, we can only wait and see. The Mayan calendar cannot be ignored. The scientists may not agree what the ultimate outcome will be but we need to monitor this very closely so we can be prepared. If it is just a marketing hoax at least many lives will not be lost. As the date gets closer you will have to decide whether you believe the Mayan’s or the scientists or you think they are just trying to sell you a hoax.
There really isn’t a solution to this problem. All we can do is wait and see what events will happen. Yes, you could stock up on food and water, but what if it happens to be wrong, than there is no harm done anyway because you can use the food later. Really there is nothing to fear because what is going to happen will happen and you can’t change that. Do not worry about tomorrow because tomorrow will worry about itself.
