No not really. The Etek3 is very similar to the Ego 7/8. If you already have an Ego 7/8 I probably wouldn't trade. But if you have an Ego 5/6 I would think it will be a step up.

The AM (All Metal) version is LCD upgrade capable. The LT (composite frame, eye covers and feedneck) needs to be converted to AM before the LCD board can be installed.

I have the LCD board in my Etek3. It works just like any current Ego/Geo board.

No.

If you have the AM you can purchase the board as an upgrade and install it.

(Although the board is not yet released!)

If you have the LT, you first need to install the AM upgrade kit, and then the Emortal board.

I picked mine up the week of the AA 4man and have used it every week sence. the Etek3 is very consistant out of the box, the barrel is satisfactory, the trigger is AMAZING, and it shoots alot like all the high end Eclipse markers.
Cant wait till its fully broken in.

i bought my last sunday and used it all open play and i just love this gun it shoot great gun... not a fan of led but that will do till the emortal board comes out
