Sneak Peek
I arrived at 6651 141st
Ave. NW in Ramsey, MN (about 5 block from the old Paintball PRO location)
and the first thing that caught my eye, was that they had rented almost
half of the building, I could tell this by all of the windows that had
Paintball banners in them. Just from looking at it from the outside, I
could tell that it has as big I still had some doubts, so I grab my camera and went inside to see if it could really be that big. WOW! Was the first thing I thought when I walk inside. This was way bigger then I ever pictures in my mind. Until I walk in, I had thought that it may be 2 to 3 times bigger then the old Paintball PRO facility, but it is more like 6 to 7 times bigger and it has a 18' ceiling. Inside, Guy gave me the grand
tour. It will have three playing field operating at the same time and the
staging area alone will be bigger then that Mpls. indoor field.
Walls for the Pro shop, offices and bathrooms will be next. Guy said March 1st will be
opening day and they are on track for it. They had just order a 20hp air compressor from California. That's more then twice as big as the one used at Sup'AIR Bowl and that one took care of 200 players with no air line. They are tearing up the cement floor, to get down to the dirt, where the fields will be and then they will be adding 8" of treated wood chips (no dust and no mold). All the fields will be Extreme Air Ball and all of their rental guns will use compressed air. They are talking to the owner of the building to put up some outside fields on a 8 acre lot right nest to the building. From what I can see and from what I have been told, this will be a great place to play. This facility will double the
number of indoor playing field in Minnesota from 3 to 6. Thanks for the sneak peek and I can't wait to see it in March. Here are the rest of the pictures
I took.
